Passion Pit Brings Electro-Pop Energy to Salt Lake City

Passion Pit is returning to the stage to bring their high energy show to Rockwell At The Complex on Tuesday, August 11th, 2016. This is going to be an EPIC night of live music and dancing. The Boston-area born and bred electro-pop band will be performing in Utah’s #1 entertainment venue in front of a huge crowd. It will be Passion Pit’s first show in Utah and is expected to be a sold out show.

Passion Pit will deliver a similar show to their previous performances bringing a unique blend of tracks featuring catchy hooks, a variety of electronic efforts and massive soundscapes that result in a truly dynamic performance by lead singer Michael Angelakos pounding away on his keyboard while delivering powerful and soaring vocals as he sings of heart, love and relationships in songs such as their hit “Little Secrets” off of their debut album “Manners” which became a huge hit for the group especially within the college crowd and recently they have been playing “Carried Away” off of their new album which comments on the effects of money on a person’s life and relationships. Since their debut with their first album “Manners”, Boston-based, electro-pop, Passion Pit have made massive progress in their style of music as well as their live performances. In addition to “Manners”, the band has also released “Gossamer” and “Kindred” each with its unique style. The group received a Grammy nomination as well as headlining spots at many festivals including Bonnaroo, proving that Passion Pit is a major player in the indie-pop scene.
