Rockwell At The Complex
Diverge from the norm and experience The Midnight performing their critically acclaimed synth-heavy album “Time Machines” this Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at Rockwell At The Complex in Los Angeles. The Midnight is a synthwave duo consisting of front man Tyler Lyle and multi-instrumentalist Tim McEwan.
Fans of The Midnight will be taken back in time as the duo takes the stage to play the band’s album “Time Machines.” The show started off with the Oregon dream pop band New Constellations playing a number of their unique songs from their recently released album It Comes in Waves.

Synthwave kings and queens, The Midnight come to downtown Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 for an all-ages show! They are bringing their Time Machines tour to the city and the show will take place at a brand new venue downtown. Doors will open at 7:00pm and the show will begin at 8:00pm.
The band is actively touring all over the world playing over 25 cities including Brisbane, Miami Beach, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington DC, Los Angeles and many more. New Constellations will open up to get everyone ready for The Midnight.
The Midnight is a synthwave act for the modern era, a collaboration between Atlanta based singer-song writer Tyler Lyle and Portland based Danish producer Tim McEwan. The two met back in 2012 and formed The Midnight based in Los Angeles. They have found much success, placing multiple songs on the Billboard charts. Fans of The Midnight will recognize two of their most popular songs that will be performed live, "Vampires" and "Los Angeles". The Midnight released their third album "Kids" in 2023, but for "Renegade" all original music is from their 2025 album "Syndicate".
Portland Oregon dream pop duo New Constellations is comprised of two lifelong friends, Harlee Case and Josh Smith. The two met as kids and started playing music together when they were 14 years old in Harlee's childhood bedroom. Years would pass before the two would reconnect with and start the band that would become New Constellations. Fans who enjoy exquisite tunes and crisp vocals such as "Do What You Want" have flocked to the band's debut full length, It Comes in Waves, a well-crafted exploration of the duo's growth as musicians.
Rockwell at The Complex is the largest venue in The Complex entertainment district at 536 West 100 South in downtown Salt Lake City, one of Salt Lake's premier entertainment districts since 2010. This popular music venue boasts a state of the art sound system and leading edge LED lighting. Rockwell can seat 2,500 for a concert (general admission, standing room with seatable options) and guests can enjoy a variety of concessions from the lobby including food, snacks, soda and energy drinks. Parking is available right next to The Complex at The Rockwell Centre, as well as upgraded parking for select shows. There are also streets and many public lots around Salt Lake City to park and walk to The Complex.
